Wudang Taihe fist 22 moves

Wudang Taihe boxing is the mountain boxing of Wudang Mountain Taoism. The secret biography of Wudang Taoism has never been made public.

 

In ancient times, due to the discipline of Wudang Taoism, Wudang Taihe boxing has never been spread outside, and its internal spread must be taught by disciples. In the process of inheritance through the ages, it was only for the master’s personal education, followed by words, and never left the manual text.

 

Taihe boxing has 22 moves in total. The formulation of the second twelve forms is roughly ten, which is combined with the twelve numbers of the local branches. It contains the principles of circulation and transformation of Tai Chi, yin and Yang, five elements and eight trigrams, so as to praise the way of education.

 

The 22 moves drill of Taihe fist is very simple and simple. It has the wind of coir rainbows in the mountains and fields and the posture of wild cranes in the peach valley. However, according to Taoist Yongguang, after learning this fist, if you can go deep along the path, you will learn it a hundred times, a hundred times, a thousand times, a thousand times, and a thousand times, and a thousand times, you will understand it. This is one level of learning, one level of Kung Fu, one level of work and one level of benefit. If you can use the internal alchemy static skill day by day, it will complement each other and change with each passing day.

 

There is not much to say about the essence of Taihe boxing. Stand as stable as a peak, move as leisurely as a cloud, move as fast as you can, and stay as still as you can. Those who are steady and quiet, like limitless, are indestructible and unbreakable; Those who move slowly are like tai chi, invincible and unbreakable. When stable, there is nothing but self, and when moving, you forget yourself. Only when you are extremely soft and slow can you be extremely firm and fast. The fist of Taihe lies in Taihe. Taihe is the extreme, and the extreme is the limitless. Great harmony is also great harmony, and great harmony is also great harmony. This is a human body. When performing Kung Fu, the five senses, seven orifices, four limbs and hundreds of bones, and even the pore cells, all coincide.

 

The twenty-two forms of Taihe boxing are derived from the limitless Tai Chi. Tai Chi separates the Yin and Yang, moves the Yin and Yang, and finally returns to the limitless. It embodies the movement of circular rotation, Zhongzheng, relaxation and softness everywhere. After learning for a long time, there must be a mixed round aura that moves with you. Those who do not have access to their territory must be investigated in detail from the perspective of theory and law. Therefore, the martial proverb goes: “it is not a thousand moves, but only one move.” There is nothing wrong with honesty.

 

Action decomposition

 

First type stepless type (preparatory type)

 

Face to the East, with two feet parallel and shoulder width, stand naturally, with toes grasping the ground, empty soles, knees slightly bent, and the knee tip does not exceed the toe. Keep the body upright, close the abdomen and lift the anus, including the chest and pull out the back (the abdomen is slightly retracted, and the anus has the tendency of self lifting; the chest is slightly retracted, and the back has the shape of self pulling, both of which are to adjust the body to be upright), and empty the top strength (consciously feel that the neck is hollow, and slightly pull the neck to lift the air in it up to Baihui. If the adjustment is done, there will be a sense of Qi blending from Baihui to the tail perineum. When slightly pulling the neck, the chin must be retracted). The tip of the tongue is slightly curled, gently touching the root of the upper and lower teeth. The upper and lower teeth are slightly knocked closed, and the body fluid overflows in the mouth. It can show that the body method is up to the point, and the blood is unblocked. At this time, you must swallow it gently.

 

 

 

Keep your eyes on the distance, keep your mind pure and quiet, and don’t be led by anything. Hold Tai Chi with both hands and place it naturally in front of the abdomen (pinch the left index finger and the middle finger in a ring shape, insert the right index finger from the ring, place it on the root section of the left ring finger, and put the remaining four fingers together on the back of the left hand). The root section of the ring finger of the left hand is the Zi Jue, and the middle finger tip is the Wu Jue. This is the Zi Wu Jue. Therefore, in order to form tai chi, it can adjust the Yin and Yang water and fire of the human body and make the blood and gas circulation smooth (see Figure 1).

 

The limitless preparatory form is also the Wudang Taoist gate standing pile skill. If you stand properly, you will have a sense of nothingness all over your body. When Qi moves through your body, there is no barrier or penetration. Beginners must have their own problems. They should not be anxious about this. They should understand the principles and methods step by step, correct one mistake at a time, and correct ten mistakes ten times. Over time, they will get the mystery and get better.

The second movement Tai Chi

 

The right hand pulls out the hollow palm from the left hand (the five fingers are close together, the palm center is concave, and the palm center is downward) and slightly lifts it up to the right side of the body (see Figure 2). Then, lift it down along the circular arc until it is close to the head level, turn the palm outward, fall to the left four or five inches above the front of the left shoulder, and draw it to the right to the same height as the right shoulder before sticking to the head (see Figure 3).

 

When the right hand is pulled out from the ring to the right, the left hand is also slightly to the right. When it reaches the right side of the body, it draws an arc downward and left. The left hand is also a hollow palm, with the palm upward and rotating in a ball hugging manner with the right palm. When the right palm is in front of the right shoulder, the left hand also falls in front of the left shoulder and hugs the right palm (see Figure 4). Then, the two palms close to the middle, with the right palm outside and the left palm inside, in a cross shape (see Figure 5).

 

When the right hand pulls out the limitless form from the left hand, as the right hand rotates outward to the right, the right foot takes the heel as the axis, and the toe swings slightly to the right; When the right palm draws a circle from the front of the head to the left to form a ball holding movement with the left palm, the left foot also takes the heel as the axis, the toe swings slightly to the left, and the two feet take an outward splay step; When the two palms are folded and crossed toward the middle, the left foot first, and then the right foot, both of which swing inward into the original step shape.

 

When holding the ball with both palms, keep your body in alignment, and only move with your arms to rise and sink naturally

The third type separates the two instruments

 

Turn the body of the crossed hand 90 degrees to the right. When turning to the right, the crossed hand becomes two palms in parallel. While the thumbs of both hands are retracted, the right heel rotates in place as the axis, and the toe swings out 90 degrees to the right. The swing must be consistent with the rotation of the upper body; After the right foot is put into position, the left heel is lifted, and the foot is placed slightly to the left with the forefoot as the axis, forming a t-step with the right foot (see Figure 6).

 

At this time, the palms are swung back from the left and right sides of the body, and the center of gravity of the body is moved to the right leg after the palm is swung, the right leg is slightly bent and squatted, the left foot is swung with the palm, the toes are lifted up and backward, and the heel is used to support the ground. The two palms are swung back, with the tendency of turning, chopping and holding, and can not be swung back (see Figure 7).

 

Then, retract the palm with the thumb, turn left and right inward to turn into an internal hook palm, with the palm center upward, and stick it to the waist. This method swings the palm from left to right and back, just like a carpenter pulling a big saw, so it is also called pull saw (see Figure 8).

 

The fourth formula produces Yin and Yang

 

The thumb of the left palm is retracted, close to the root of the index finger. While pushing forward with the flat palm, the right palm turns down at the waist and turns the Yin flat palm forward; When pushing the palms, move the upper body with the belt and move the center of gravity forward, which is really pushing with the waist; Move the body weight forward and fall on the right foot. The tip of the right foot will fall to the ground with the push to form a bow step, and the left foot will form a pedal step; When setting the formula, the two palms are in parallel (see Figure 9).

The fifth form is the unity of heaven and earth

 

When the body posture is not moved, the Yang palm of the left palm is the sky, and the Yin palm of the right palm is the ground. The left palm turns into the Yin palm, and the right palm turns into the Yang palm. The left palm is above, the right palm is below, and the two palms coincide.

 

The left arm is slightly retracted with the wrist in an arc, and the top of the right elbow is close to the right rib. This heaven and earth are united in one form. The key point is that the two wrists rotate and the two elbows rotate slightly (see Figure 10 ① ②).

 

The sixth move is earth shaking

 

Double palms turn up 180 degrees with the left rotation, draw a large arc from the front of the body to the left, fall with the positioning of the body, the top of the left elbow is close to the left rib, and the right arm is in an arc. When turning from right to left, take the left heel as the axis and rotate the toe to the left for 90 degrees; The right foot then takes the heel as the axis, the toe moves 90 degrees to the left, the body center of gravity inclines to the left foot, and the two feet form a bow step in the left direction (see Figure 11).

 

When both feet move to the left, there must be a horse step transition with the body. At the moment of forming the horse step, the palms are right in front of the head. The left palm is at the bottom and the right palm is at the top. The palms coincide with each other. The left palm points to the right and the right palm points to the left, in a plane crossing pattern.

The seventh move thunder and fire refining Hall (lightning hand)

 

The right foot sweeps a big step before wiping the ground to the left, falls in front of the left foot, and forms a lunge from the left foot; At the same time, the right palm rubs down from the left palm and sweeps away behind in a cutting shape; At the same time, the left palm is sent out from the left front, top and right side in the “Chi” style. The arm is curved, and the palm is in the “half Yin and half Yang” style; The left foot moves forward with the center of gravity of the body, and the heel is raised into a tiptoe step. Swing your head slightly to the right, and look at the rear with your eyes to the right (see Figure 12).

 

The eighth move left open door

 

The left hand is retracted, the root of the palm is attached to the right flank, the right hand is waved to the front and top of the body, the waist is the axis, the left foot does not move, the right heel is the axis, and the left foot rotates 90 degrees to the left. At the same time, both hands are like holding a big ball cloud hand, the right hand is up, the left hand is down, and the two palms are in contact (see Figure 13).

 

Then, the left palm rises along the arc, and is in contact with the tip of the nose; Drop the right palm, and then draw an arc to the left to fall under the left armpit, and the back of the palm is attached to the outer root of the left arm; The left palm falls in a plane semicircle with the wrist, elbow and shoulder; At this time, the left tiptoe to the ground, with the heel as the axis, the body drives the left arm and left foot to rotate 90 degrees to the left, and the eye rotates with the palm (see Figure 14).

 

The ninth move right door

 

Swing the left hand upward and the right hand downward, and use the two palms to hold the big ball anti cloud hand in a counterclockwise direction (see Figure 15). This pose is the same as the cloud hand pose. After the left palm is the cloud hand, it is attached to the outer root of the right arm. The right palm is in a round position with the wrist, elbow and shoulder

 

Support, and then rotate 180 degrees to the right with your body. When turning, first turn the right foot, then the left foot, and each turn 90 degrees to the right with the heel as the axis, and the eyes turn with the palm (see figures 16 and 17).

The tenth move one pillar to lift the sky

 

With the left leg as the column, when the body is pulled out to the left, the right leg is retracted and lifted to the left, the thigh surface is horizontal, the lower part of the knee is inclined to the left, the foot surface is straight, and the right heel shines in front of the left knee.

 

With the body standing upright on the left, the left palm withdraws from the right armpit and rises. With the left elbow as the axis, turn the palm face inward into the side palm, and lift the strength from the shoulder; The right palm is downward and then clockwise to the left to fall under the left armpit, and the back of the palm is close to the outer root of the left arm (see Figure 18).

The eleventh style Lion Peak

 

Drop the right foot, take a big step to the right, move the body to the right with the right leg, the right leg is a lunge, and the left leg is a stepping step. At the same time, change the hook hand of the right hand (that is, the thumb is inserted in the middle section of the middle finger, and the rest points to the middle finger to close) down, then draw an arc to the right front and lift it forward, lift the shoulder, elbow and wrist up, and hook the back of the fist and fingers in the form of eagle claw; The left hand is also changed into a hook hand, draw an arc from the front midline to the back of the body, fall in a parallel line with the hip, and turn the hook hand over. The front hook is the lion’s head and the rear hook is the lion’s tail; With the arc drawn by the front and rear hook hands, the body sinks (see Figure 19).

 

The twelfth style Hydrangea peak

 

Turn left for 180 degrees, then turn left for 90 degrees with the left heel as the axis, and then turn left for 90 degrees with the right foot as the axis, forming a left bow and right step; At the same time, the left hook hand turns the hollow palm to the right, and the right hook hand turns the hollow palm to buckle on the right rib. The right foot strides forward to form a lunge, the body weight moves forward to the right leg, and the left leg forms a step.

 

At this time, the left foot must take the forefoot of the foot as the axis, and the heel should swing 45 degrees to the right. With the right foot straddling forward, the right palm extends forward, and closes with the left palm into a hollow Hydrangea shape. When setting, the two elbows are under, the shoulder, elbow, wrist and finger are triangular, and the hollow palm is compared with the heart pit (see Figure 20).

 

The thirteenth move: the green dragon stirs the sea (the green dragon swings its tail)

 

Pull back the right palm from the left palm, pinch the thumb in the palm and place it between the right ribs; The left hollow palm is flattened, and the left elbow is raised, so that the arm is flat in a circular arc, and the palm finger is slightly upward. Is to draw an arc to the left (see Figure 21). When the arm is straightened, it inclines downward behind the back, then turns the thumb into the palm, turns the palm upward and places it between the left ribs. At this time, the two legs form a horse step (see Figure 21).

 

The fourteenth move black tiger patrolling the mountain

 

The right palm is pulled out from the right intercostal space, pushed out from the left front Yang palm, and the right foot does not move. When the right palm is pushed out, the left foot is used as the axis to rotate left for 45 degrees, the right palm is turned inward, the palm surface is outward, the right arm is in a circular arc, the palm finger is slightly inclined upward, and the left heel is used as the axis to turn right to the original position (see Figure 23).

 

When the right palm is waved until the arm is straightened, it tilts downward behind the back, turns the thumb around the palm, turns inward and puts it up between the right ribs, and the two legs still return to the horse step (see Figure 22).

The fifteenth movement Swan spreads its wings

 

Two palms of Eagle Claw fist are pulled out from two ribs, two arms are raised high, and two fists are hooked; Just when the two arms are raised, the right foot is lifted, the toe is tilted 45 degrees to the right, about one step beyond the original foot position, and the fall forms the right bow and left pedal step (see Figure 24).

 

The 16th move strikes the Golden Bell

 

When the bow kicks still, the right fist falls and becomes a hollow fist. Draw a circle clockwise, lift it to the upper right position through the chest, face the sky, and the fist looks at the right ear (see Figure 25).

 

The seventeenth move five dragons holding saint

 

The left hook fist changes to the eight character fist (the thumb and the other four fingers are separated) and draws an arc anticlockwise in front of the abdomen to the right and pushes it out to the right and up; Then push the left palm, turn the body slightly to the right, and make the chest plane to the right; When the left palm is pushed out, the left foot rubs forward half a step to the right, which is the left step of the right bow (see Figure 26).

The 18th move White Snake spits out a message

 

The step pattern remains the same, the right fist is pulled down to the right intercostal space, the palm is flattened (the thumb is bent) and pushed straight forward (see Figure 27).

 

The 19th style golden turtle swing head

 

Keep the distance between the palms unchanged, and change the ball holding posture to draw a big circle in front of the body up and left. In the process of circle drawing, the distance between the two palms is gradually narrowed, and when the left side of the body falls, the two palms are closed.

 

At this time, the body also rotates to the left with the left rotation of the arm. First, the left foot rotates to the left for 90 degrees, and then the right foot rotates to the left for 90 degrees with the heel as the axis. When setting the pose, the top of the left elbow is close to the left rib, the hearts of the two palms coincide, the fingers of the two palms are crossed, and the two legs are in a relaxed left bow and right step (see Figure 28).

 

The 20th style Tianzhu peak

 

The body is pulled to the right, and the right leg stands like a pillar in the sky, making the body upright; Lift the left leg to change the hook leg, the thigh surface is straight, the lower leg is inclined from below the knee to the right, the foot surface is straight, and the heel is in line with the tip of the right knee; Turn the right palm into a fist and hold it high in an anticlockwise arc with the fist face facing the sky; At the same time, the left palm makes an arc anticlockwise and falls on the right shoulder seam (see Figure 29).

 

The 21st move eight trigrams transit Hall

 

When the above formula is set, it faces the East. At this time, it can be assumed that there is a large circle under the ground in front of you. You can walk through this circle in eight steps and fall to your original position.

 

At this time, the upper body and fist pose do not move, the left foot falls to the ground, and the two feet walk in circles (see Figur

The 22nd type: return without pole

 

Change the right fist to the palm and hold the ball with the left palm at the same time. When the two palms of the cloud hand hold a big ball in front of the chest (see Figure 31), turn the palms inward, cross in front of the chest, with the right arm outside and the left arm inside; Then place the back of the left palm flat on the right palm, and place the two arms flat in front of the upper abdomen.

 

At this time, the body is sinking, and the two palms are also sinking and separated to both sides. They are raised like wings, and the arms are flat with the shoulders. The hearts of the two palms are like holding a big ball, and then they are close to the middle, and fall in front of the chest (see Figure 32). The two palms are held in tai chi style, and placed in front of the abdomen. At this time, as the internal Qi is withdrawn into the Dantian, the body still has the meaning of slight sinking (see Figure 1).

 

Precautions: always keep the tongue against the palate, breathe naturally and have a clear mind.
