Reserve potential

Action Essentials: Stand upright, take half a step to the left with your left leg in place, hold your left fist around your waist, swing your head to the right, and hold a stick in your right hand.

Easy mistake: Swinging head is not in place.

Corrective method: Swing your head to chin level.

1. Children worship Buddha

Action essentials: change the left fist into a palm, from the bottom up to the chest into a Buddha worship posture, hold the stick in the right hand unchanged, and look straight ahead (Figure 1).

Easy mistake: weak push palm

Corrective method: Be quick and powerful when pushing the palm.

2. Horse step holding stick

Action essentials: Kick the lower end of the stick with your right foot, rotate 360° so that the stick is raised in front of your chest, while your right leg takes half a step to the right and looks to the right (Figure 2).

Easy mistakes: Horses step outward.

Correction: Tiptoe forward and thighs horizontal.

3. Golden Rooster is independent

Action essentials: Raise the left leg into an independent position, turn the body slightly to the left, push the left palm forward, hold the stick in front of the chest with the right hand, and look to the left front (Figure 3).

Easy mistake: Raise your knees and toes.

Correction: Straighten the surface of the foot and the toes are down.

4. Lunge back stick

Action essentials: Grab the stick with your left hand and pull it forward, so that the right hand holds the stick at the bottom of the stick, and make a circle and a half back stick, and the left leg lands into a left lunge. Push the palm with the left hand and look visually at the left palm (Figure 4).

Easy mistake: back stick shoulder upturned.

Correction method: The shoulders should be relaxed, and the force should reach the palm root.

5. Horse steps and sticks

Action Essentials: Turn the body to the right and catch the upper end of the stick with the left hand. Strike forward with the lower end of the stick, while striding with your left foot and looking straight ahead to the right (Figure 5).

Easy mistake: bending over

Correction method: The waist should be straight.

6. Jump and pick a stick

Action Essentials: Turn left and jump forward, landing both feet into horse steps, while the stick is raised and looking to the left front (Figure 6).

Easy mistake: upturned shoulders.

Correction method: the shoulders should be relaxed, and the force should reach the end of the stick.

7. Lunge cover handle

Action essentials: shift the center of gravity forward, turn the body 90 degrees to the left, press the right leg into a left lunge, and at the same time use the stick handle as a force point to split the stick to the left front, and look straight ahead (Figure 7 omitted).

Easy mistakes: the heels of the hind legs are off the ground, and the cover handle is weak.

Correction method: Leg back, lunge heel pressed, cover handle force stick handle.

8. Walking and wrestling

Action essentials: Hold the stick in both hands, go from the left side of the body to the right side of the body, split the stick from top to bottom, and at the same time form a left servant, looking at the front and bottom (Figure 8).

Easy mistake: Left leg bent.

Correction: Buckle inside the toe and straighten the left leg.

9. Lunge pulling stick

Action essentials: Get up and turn around into a right lunge, while holding the stick and pulling the stick diagonally to the side, right hand on top and left hand down, visually looking at the end of the stick (Figure 9).

Easy mistakes: uncoordinated pulling movements.

Corrective method: Turn around and pull the stick in harmony.

10. Ding step push stick

Action essentials: Turn the body 90 degrees to the right, pick the stick forward, hold the root of the stick in your right hand, push the stick upright and forward, and step the left leg up and on tiptoe into a T-step (Figure 10).

Easy mistake: bending over and unsteady steps.

Corrective method: The waist should be straight, and the right foot should stand firmly.

11. Push the stick side by side

Action essentials: Step up with your left foot, follow your right leg, squat in parallel steps, and at the same time pick up the stick forward with the root, and hold the stick in your left hand to push the stick upright and forward (Figure 11).

Easy to make mistakes: unstable center of gravity, leaning forward.

Correction method: Strengthen the combination of the upper step and the stick pushing movement.

12. Bullet leg cloud stick

Essentials: Kick forward with the left leg, step up with the left leg and dance the flower, retreat the right leg to the left leg, turn 360° from the back and push back from bottom to top with the root of the stick, looking straight ahead (Figure 12).

Easy mistakes: the support leg is bent, and the leg is weak to eject the leg.

Correction method: Elastic leg force to toe.

13. Lunge sticks

Essentials: Dance the stick above your head with both hands, strike your right leg into a right lunge, and pull the stick out from bottom to top, looking straight ahead (Figures 13, 14).

Easy mistakes: the cloud stick is incorrect, and the legs are bent after lunges.

14. Kick your feet

Action essentials: Get up, dance the stick with both hands, then turn right into a right step, hold the stick with the back of the stick in your right hand, and look to the left side. On the left foot, lunge the stick, shake the right leg, kick the left leg back, push the left palm back to the left leg at the same time, and visually look in the direction of the left foot (Figure 15).

Easy mistakes: the right leg supports the leg bent, and the left leg kicks weakly.

Correction method: Strengthen the leg kicking exercise.

16. Lunge holding sticks

Action essentials: Landing on the ground with the left foot, turning the body left into a right lunge, holding the stick in the left hand, holding the stick root in the right hand, pulling the stick to the chest to hold the stick and poke forward, looking straight ahead (Figure 16).

Easy mistakes: lunge bent, holding stick not received on the chest.

Correction method: Strengthen the stick breaking down exercise.

17. Kneeling and pressing sticks

Action essentials: Step up with the right foot, follow the left leg up, then step up with the right leg, turn left and jump, kneel after landing, and press the stick from top to bottom with the root of the stick, visually looking at the stick (Figure 17).

Easy mistakes: unstable center of gravity on kneeling.

Corrective method: Strengthen the kneeling and stick pressing exercises.

18. Jump sweeping stick

Action Essentials: Jump in place and sweep across the ends of the stick at the same time (Figure 18).

Yi Fan Error: The sweeping stick is weak.

19. Lunge poke stick

Action Essentials:

Raise the knee with the right leg and poke the stick to the right side of the body at the same time, then step down into a right lunge, while poking back and forth with the root of the stick (Fig. 19).

Yi Fan Error: Bent lunge, uncoordinated sticking movements.

Correction method: Strengthen the movement breakdown exercise.

20. Knee lift independent

Action Essentials:

Turn left, hold the stick in your right hand, and pull the tip of the stick above your head, while raising your left leg into an independent step (Figure 20).

Yi Fan error: the support leg is bent, and the stick movement is uncoordinated.

Correction method: Strengthen the movement breakdown exercise.

21. Shake the horse and poke the stick

Action Essentials:

The left leg lands on the ground, the right leg shakes the foot, and the left leg steps up into a left lunge, while both hands grasp the stick with the tip of the stick (figure omitted).

Yi Fan error: the horse does not squat horizontally, and the body leans forward.

Corrective method: Strengthen the step pattern exercise.

22. Step up and poke the stick and step backwards

Action Essentials:

Step the left leg in a small step while poking back with the root of the stick (Figure 21).

Yi Fan error: Ding Bu’s center of gravity is unstable.

Corrective method: Strengthen the step pattern exercise.

23. Horse step splitting stick

Action Essentials:

Jump right and turn 180°, step into a horse, and then split the stick diagonally from top to bottom, and then from top to bottom, from right to left diagonally (Figure 22).

Yi Fan Error: Unstable in the center of the jumping horse, weak in splitting the stick.

Correction method: strengthen the movement combination exercise.

24. Left and right imaginary steps

Action Essentials:

Turn left 90° into a left imaginary step, drop the stick, and change to the right imaginary step and the next stick (Figures 23, 24).

Yi Fan Error: Unstable center of gravity.

25. Independent sweeping stick

Action Essentials:

Dance with both hands, then go up to the left and then up to the right, raising your knees and sweeping them with sticks (Fig. 25).

Yi Fan Error: The dancing flowers are incorrect.

26. Kick the leg stick

Action Essentials:

The left leg falls and the stick is pulled forward from top to bottom, while the right leg is pushed forward (Figure 26).

Yi Fan error: the support leg is bent, and the pedaling leg is weak.

27. Horse step stick

Action Essentials:

The right leg falls behind the left leg and shakes the foot, forming a horse stride, while the stick is erected upwards on the right side of the body (Fig. 27).

Yi Fan Error: The horse steps forward and leans forward.
