There are sitting meditation techniques, including end sitting posture, single plate posture, double plate posture, flower arrangement posture, standing meditation and lying meditation.
1、 Upright posture
Sitting upright means sitting on a stool or chair, bending the knee joint into 90 degrees, landing on the ground with the sole of the foot, placing the hands naturally on the thighs, straightening the upper body, slightly closing the eyes, looking at the tip of the nose, the top of the tongue and the upper palate, and guarding the elixir field (Fig. 1)
Beginners practice once or for 30 minutes, and then gradually increase to 1 hour.
2、 Single disk potential
Single plate posture means sitting cross legged on a cushion plate or a wide wooden board or wooden bed, with the left foot on the knee joint of the right leg, the center of the foot to the right and the toe forward; Place the right foot on the knee joint of the left leg, the foot heart to the left, the body chest straight, the two palms flat in front of the abdomen, the navel overlapped, the right palm on the top and the left palm on the bottom; The palms of both hands are upward, the thumb is abducted, and the other four fingers are close together, such as the seal of Duan Mituo; The upper body is upright, the eyes are slightly closed, the nose tip is visible, the mouth is closed naturally, the tongue is against the palate, breathe with the nose, and keep the Dantian (Fig. 2).
First practice, half an hour each time, and then gradually increase to two hours.
3、 Double disk potential
Double plate posture is to sit on a cushion plate or a wide wooden tool, bend your knees, put the right foot on the left knee first, and then put the left ankle on the right knee, cross your legs and sit upright; Keep your upper body upright, your eyes slightly closed, leave a small gap, look at the tip of your nose, naturally close your mouth, put your tongue on your crotch, relax your waist, and press your hands on the roots of your thighs (Fig. 3).
After practicing for a long time, the hands can be changed to the flat navel in front of the abdomen Like the seal of waimitha.
4、 Flower arrangement potential
Flower arrangement means sitting cross legged on a bushel or a wide wooden utensil, with toes forward and upper body upright; Two hands are folded in front of the abdomen, like the seal of Mitha at the end; Close your eyes slightly and look at the tip of your nose Naturally close your mouth, put your tongue against your palate, and breathe through your nose (Figure 4)
Practice for about half an hour each time. This practice method is easy to master and more people know it.
5、 Standing meditation
Standing meditation means that the feet are open, the same width as the shoulder, and the toes buckle slightly inward; Two arms are lifted, shoulder height, five fingers are naturally separated, and the palms are opposite, about a foot away, like holding a ball; Then both hands slowly descend at the same time and fall on the lower abdomen. The middle fingers of both hands are connected and the palm is inward; Keep your body upright, close your eyes slightly, look at the tip of your nose, and guard the elixir field (Fig. 5).
6、 Lying meditation
（1） Supine meditation
Supine is lying on the bed, with legs naturally straight and toes pointed outward; Two palms down, flat on the outside of two legs, five fingers slightly bent; Close your eyes slightly, look at the tip of your nose, open naturally, put your tongue against your palate, breathe with your nose, and keep your mind on Dantian (Fig. 6)
Song formula: lie down slowly, stretch your feet and hands, close your mouth, narrow your eyes and loosen the string outline. I will keep the elixir field and go to bed, and the sun and moon will follow the week to recover from illness.
（2） Lateral decubitus potential
Lying on the side means lying on the bed with the body to the right, legs bent forward, thighs and upper body at an obtuse angle, right leg on the bed, left leg on the right leg, slightly to the front; Put your two palms in front of you, with the right palm pointing to the divination and the left palm facing down to the bed; The head is slightly hooked forward, which looks like a locust beetle; Close your eyes slightly, look at the tip of your nose, open naturally, put your tongue against your palate, breathe with your nose, and keep your mind on Dantian (Fig. 7).
This method is easy to master. Practicing for half an hour each time has a significant effect on the treatment of heart disease and nervous system diseases.
