[introduction to skill]
The iron broom skill, also known as the iron leg skill, is a strong external skill in Shaolin’s 72 arts. It is purely masculine. It is an important skill for practicing both legs.
[cultivation principle]
The practice process should follow the principle of going from shallow to deep, from easy to difficult, from low to high, and from light to heavy. We should not be eager for success, but step by step.
[practice steps]
Phase I
First, practice pile skill. Every day, first stand at the horse step pile potential, and then make a slight adjustment when the strength is exhausted. After the strength is restored, continue to do it according to law. The initial learning time should not be too long, and it needs to be gradually extended.
When the horse step pile is still not tired after standing for three hours, the first step is completed (as shown in Figure 1-3).
Second stage
Leg practice: practice air strike with various leg techniques every morning. At the beginning of practice, the number of leg exercises should not be too much. With the continuous enhancement of skills, the number will increase. At this stage, it takes at least one year of hard practice to achieve success.
When practicing, you should always follow (the principle of skill cultivation) without interruption.
After one year, you can practice kicking sandbags. At first, strike with the above leg techniques. Every 200 times is a group, which is divided into three groups.
After three months, it can be increased to 300, and after six months, it can be increased to 500, or even more.
This method can be accomplished after two years of hard practice (as shown in Figure 4-8).
Phase III
Practice of kicking stumps: it’s hard to practice at this stage. Choose a stump and kick it according to the above method.
At the beginning of the practice, the number should not be too much. It can be divided into three groups, 30 times in each group. It is quite bitter at the beginning of the practice, and the pain will gradually disappear over time.
After half a year, you can practice with thick stumps. The skills and methods are the same as above. Three years later, Kung Fu became a success (Figure 9-14).
Phase IV
At the end of the practice, when you encounter a villain, kick him with your legs and jump on him. Your feet can also break the stone and crack the monument. If you can achieve such skill, you must use constant words.
However, those who practice martial arts need to “pay equal attention to both civil and military affairs and put morality first”. Only in this way can we carry forward the Millennium culture of Wushu (as shown in Figure 15-20).
Note: This Kung Fu should be carried out under the guidance of professionals. Do not imitate it easily.
