Shaolin Axe Routine Demonstration

Action points: stand at attention, stand with your feet side by side, stand upright with the axe, and place it on the right front of your body. Raise your head and keep your chest out. Looking ahead (Figure 1)

1. Lunge and axe

Action points: step up with the right foot to the left, withdraw the left foot into a lunge, rotate the body for one week, swing the tip of the axe down from the right side, and then lift up the body after rotating for one week, looking ahead (Figure 2).

3. Ding Bu hidden stool: the left foot is retracted into a left Ding Bu, the right foot is bent to squat, the two hands are erected on the right side of the body, and the eyes are in front (Fig. 6).

 

4. Lunge to flush the stool: take the left lunge, flush the stool obliquely with both hands, and reach the left stool head (Fig. 7).

 

5. Horse step smashing the stool: take the right step, turn left into a horse step, turn the stool clockwise, then smash the stool, hit the ground and look below (Figure 8, figure 8 front).

 

6. Jump step and lunge bench: lift the bench with both hands, jump forward (Fig. 9), fall and form a right lunge bench (FIG. 10 and FIG. 10 front), reaching the head of the bench.

Easy to make mistakes: The axe is unstable when rushing out.

Correction method: When the axe rushes out, it should be level with the shoulder, and break down and practice more.

3. Splitting Huashan

Action points: Step with the left foot, step up with the right foot to the left, turn the body to the left to form a horse stance, swing the axe from the right to the top for a week and then chop it down, looking ahead (Figure 4).

Mistakes: The dancing flower is slanted and not close to the body.

Correction method: When dancing flowers, both hands and wrists should be flexible, and the distance between the hands should not be too large.

4. Sweep away

Action points: Shake the right foot, step forward with the left foot to form a left lunge, at the same time swing the axe down and back for a week, rush out to the right, then sweep the top of the head for a week and stop to the right front of the body, looking ahead (Figure 5).

Error prone: Lunge with the back leg bent.

Correction: Tighten the knee in the back leg of the lunge, with the heel on the ground.

5. Mount Taishan

Action points: step forward with the right foot, step forward with the left foot, jump up, jump, and fall into the left lunge.

Error prone: Unsteady landing lunge.

Correction method: After landing, the center of gravity is pressed down by the two hips, and the five toes are on the ground.

6. Clear the clouds and see the sun

Action points: Step back with the left foot, and at the same time pull the axe back and pull the right foot back into a left lunge, and then push the axe out. Grasp the axe handle and waist with your left hand and look straight ahead (Figure 7).

Error prone: Incorrect line of action.

Correction method: Pull the axe straight and push it straight out.

7. Golden Rooster Independence

Action points: Step up with the right foot and shake the foot, grasp the handle and waist of the axe with both hands, lift the left knee and push the tip of the axe upward with the right hand; hold the handle of the axe with the left hand and keep it still at the waist, and look straight ahead (Figure 8).

Mistakes: Raise your knees and hook your toes, and your center of gravity is unsteady.

Correction: Straighten your toes, point your toes down, and focus on your right leg.

8. Turn around and pick up the axe

Action points: After the right foot steps up to the left, the left foot retreats into a lunge, the body rotates for one week, the tip of the axe is thrown down from the right side, the body is rotated one week and then lifted up, and the axe is visually observed (Figure 9).

Error prone: Unsteady turn and lunge.

Correction: Turn around and stand firm before taking the lunge.

9. Golden Rooster Independence

Action points: Turn the body to the right, lift the left knee, lift the axe tip up, hold the axe handle in the left hand and place it under the right armpit, and look straight ahead (Figure 10).

Mistakes: Raise your knees and hook your toes, and your center of gravity is unsteady.

Correction: Straighten your toes, point your toes down, and focus on your right leg.

10. Triple Jump

Action points: drop the left foot to the left, step forward with the right foot to the left and take off with force, turn to the ground, turn the body to the left and jump again, three times in a row, land the horse step, the axe blade vertically swings from top to bottom to form a circle, carry it with you After three weeks, it was split, and the front and bottom were visualized (Figure 11).

Mistakes: Uncoordinated jumping movements.

Correction method: walk with the axe, and coordinate the upper and lower limbs.

11. Sweep the sky

Action points: step up with your right foot to the left, then step back with your left foot, and then step back with your right leg behind your left foot. The axe stops after doing a round of cloud tops on the top of the head, the tip of the axe is slightly higher, and the right foot moves to the right again. Step up, step back with your left foot followed by your right leg, and stop after the axe has done a round of anti-cloud tops on the top of your head. Grasp the handle of the axe with your left hand and place it under your arm to be parallel to your left foot, looking straight ahead (Figure 12).

Mistakes: Pros and cons are upside-down, incoherent.

Correction method: The positive cloud top is rotated from left to right, and the reverse cloud top is opposite.

12. Kneeling and Chopping Axe

Action points: Step left with the left foot, step up with the right foot to the left, step back with the left foot to become a dangerous step, change hands and continue to rotate for a week after the axe is on the top of the head, and the axe tip is slashed diagonally upwards, held in the left hand Hold the handle of the axe around your waist and look straight ahead (Figure 13).

Mistakes: Instruments are easy to get out of hand.

Correction method: When the top of the cloud, both hands must be coordinated alternately, and the other hand can only be released after one hand is caught.

13. Single split mountain

Action points: Step back with the left foot to the right foot, grab the axe with both hands to turn over the waist, and step forward with the right foot into a horse stance, with the axe blade pointed downward, and look straight ahead (Figure 14).

Error-prone: The horse’s stance is unstable.

Correction method: After turning the waist, step up quickly and press down the center of gravity.

14. Horse step pick handle

Action points: Step up with your left foot to the right, turn your body right into a horse stance, grab the handle of the axe with your right hand and put it on your waist, grab the handle of the axe with your left hand and pick it out from the bottom up, looking straight ahead (Figure 15).

Error prone: equipment does not fit snugly when stomping.

Correction method: Grab the handle of the axe with the left hand and pick it out from the bottom to the top.

15. Looking back at the moon

Action points: The horse stance becomes a left lunge, and the right hand grabs the handle of the axe and presses it down obliquely.

Easy to make mistakes: press down vertically, the machine punches.

Correction method: The right hand should be pressed down obliquely, and the tip of the axe should be about 5 cm away from the knee joint.

16. Kneeling and pressing the axe

Action points: step up with your right foot to the left, step up with your left foot again and push on the ground with force, turn around in the air and fall into a kneeling step, press down the axe tip, and look at the axe tip (Figure 17).

Mistakes: Inaccurate kneeling steps on the ground.

Correction method: Turn around quickly in the air, and land on your feet into a kneeling step.

17. Lunge Frame Axe

Action points: Get up and kneel into a right lunge, hold the axe above the head with both hands, the tip of the axe is slightly higher than the tail of the axe, and look to the left (Figure 18).

Easy to make mistakes: bowing your head, not holding your hands straight.

Correction method: look up at the left side, open the frame with both hands and place it on the top of the head.

18. Lunge and Split Axe

Action points: hold the handle of the axe in the right hand, step forward with the right foot, step back with the left foot to form a left lunge, the axe is on the top of the head and then split out, hold the handle of the axe in the left hand at the waist, and look straight ahead (Figure 19).

Fallacy: Inaccurate left hand holding an axe.

Correction method: Hold the handle of the axe at the waist with the left hand.

19. Knee-lifting axe

Action points: The tip of the axe swings out from top to bottom for a week and then stops in front of the body, raises the knee with the left foot, turns the body to the right, and looks straight ahead (Figure 20).

Error prone: unstable center of gravity, inaccurate position of the axe.

Correction method: Focus on the right leg, grasp the ground with five toes, and make the axe high and shoulder level.

20. Erlangdan Mountain

Action points: Land your left foot forward, step back with your right foot, turn your body right into a horse stance, and look straight ahead (Figure 21).

Error prone: Confused withdrawal.

Correction method: After the left foot landed forward, the right foot followed closely and the body turned left.

21. Lunge and Split Axe

Action points: Grab the handle of the axe with the right hand, and split it from the back of the head to the left front. At the same time, the horse stance becomes a left lunge.

Mistakes: Lunge with the back leg bent and the heel off the ground.

Correction method: Tighten the knee joint of the hind leg, and the heel is on the ground.

Action points: The tip of the axe is thrown from the upper left to the lower right and released on the ground, with the tip of the axe pointing upwards. Change the left hand to the palm, lift it from the lower left to the top of the head and then close it in front of the chest, stand with both legs and look straight ahead (Figure 23).
