Forty two Style Tai Chi is a Tai Chi competition routine organized and created by the Martial Arts Research Institute of the former National Sports Commission in 1989. Easy to make mistakes: the right toe is too far away.

3. left single whip
Action tips: turn your body left, move your left foot forward to the left, turn your right palm into a hook, arc your left palm to the front, and continue to turn your upper body left. Move the center of gravity forward into a left bow step, rotate the left forearm inward, turn the left palm forward and push it out, the palm center is forward, and the wrist height is equal to the shoulder. Visually inspect the left palm (Figure 4).
Easy to make mistakes: improper upper body and unstable center of gravity.
Correction method: loosen the crotch after the right palm turns into a hook, turn the body out of the foot, and then move the center of gravity, pushing the palm into a single whip.
4. handle
Action tips: turn the body right 90 °, swing the left palm to the right and draw an arc, shift the center of gravity to the left, and change the right hook hand to the palm. The left palm is slightly flat to the left, the upper body is slightly turned to the right, the right foot, the heel is on the ground, and the toe is cocked up into a right empty step. The right palm stands on the side and is held in front of the body. Bend and retract the left arm, close the left palm to the inside of the right elbow, and visually inspect the right palm (Fig. 5).
Easy to make mistakes: uncoordinated movements of hands and feet.
Correction method: the front of the two arms should coincide with the right toe up, and the heel should touch the ground at the same time.
5. white crane wings
Action Essentials: turn the upper body to the left, draw an arc with both hands to the left and lower, turn over and hold it in front of the left chest, with the left hand on the top, slightly bend the two arms into an arc, shift the center of gravity to the right, turn the upper body to the right, and raise the two hands to the front of the right shoulder while closing.
The left foot is slightly retracted, and the toe points to the ground to form a left empty step. The two hands are separated from the upper right and the lower left, and the right palm is raised to the front of the right forehead. Press the left palm on the left crotch and keep the two arms in an arc. Visual inspection in front (attached to Fig. 6 and Fig. 6).
Easy to make mistakes: the right hand is too high and the body is easy to lean back.
Correction method: single action stereotype exercise.
6. kneeling step
Action tips: turn the upper body to the left and draw an arc to the front right with your right hand. Draw an arc downward to the right rib, draw the left foot to the inside of the right foot, step forward with the left foot, land the heel, bend the elbow with the right arm, draw the right hand to the ear, draw an arc downward with the left hand to the front of the abdomen, and move the center of gravity forward to the left bow step.
Push the palm of the right hand forward, and press the left hand next to the left crotch. Move the center of gravity backward, turn the upper body to the left, then draw an arc to the left with the right hand, draw an arc to the left with the left hand, lift it to the left front of the body, and swing the right hand to the left rib.

7. throwing hammer

Easy to make mistakes: the space between the two hands is too large, and the hind legs are not straight and uncoordinated during the lunge.
Correction method: withdraw your legs when stroking with both hands, collapse your arms when stepping out, and squeeze forward when lunging.
9. progressive moving and blocking hammer
Action tips: move the center of gravity backward and turn left; Draw an arc with the left palm downward, extend the right palm to the front, and the palm is inclined downward; Close the right foot to the inside of the left foot; The left palm makes an arc to the left, curls up and closes in front of the body, the right palm changes its fist, makes an arc downward and closes in front of the abdomen, the right foot moves forward, and the left fist turns forward and moves out through the inner side of the left arm.

Action Essentials: the left palm passes under the right forearm, the right fist changes to the palm, the left foot tip is cocked up, the two palms are separated, the arms are bent and rotated inward to the chest, the two palms are turned to fall in front of the abdomen, the right foot is pulled back to the side of the left foot to form a right step, the two palms are pressed forward, and the two palms are visually visible (Figure 11).
Easy to make mistakes: the right foot is too far (close) from the left foot in the t-step.
Correction method: the right heel is 10 ~ 15cm behind the right foot.
11. opening and closing hand
Action tips: take the right foot sole and left heel as the axis, turn them to the right in turn, and keep both feet steady; Turn the palms over and face each other, bend them to the chest, separate the palms left and right, shift the weight to the left leg, and lift the right heel; The palms should be the same width as the head, and the palms should be opposite to each other. 13. elbow bottom hammer
