Spin kick is a leg technique that is difficult to master and use in Jeet Kune Do, because when doing spin kick, the body is easy to lose balance, and during the turning process, it is easy to expose the empty space in the back. However, if you can master the timing and distance of the attack, the spinning kick often works wonders, and makes full use of the power generated by the rotation of the body, so once hit, the lethality is great. It is often used for counterattacks and surprise attacks. The main kicking areas are the crotch, waist and abdomen, and ribs. 【Method of action】
Stand on the right swing pile. The right foot is rotated externally with the sole of the foot as the axis, and the heel is facing each other; At the same time, the center of gravity shifts to the right foot, the upper body rotates counterclockwise, directly lifts the left knee, aligns the outer edge of the left foot with the attacking target, quickly twists the waist and hips, straightens the knee and kicks out towards the target, and the force reaches the full foot. (Figure 2-56(1)(2)(3))
[Note]
When turning, use the head to drive the upper body to rotate, and kick out with the legs. After kicking out, the center of gravity falls on the supporting leg, and the upper body kicks the legs into a competitive force.
[Practical demonstration]
There is a confrontation between the enemy and ourselves. As the opponent prepared to advance and launch an attack, I quickly turned around and kicked them in the waist and abdomen. (Figures 2-57 (1) (2) (3))
