1、 Introduction to kung fu

One of the seventy-two unique skills of Shaolin, also known as the skill of crossing the river with a reed and flying on the water, that is, the so-called Kung Fu of riding the Ping to cross the water and stepping on the snow without trace. This is one of the lightness kungfu. It is soft and strong. It can advance on water and other places with soft things. It is said that Dharma has finished preaching in the south. When returning, he encountered a river with no boat to cross. He folded the reed beside the river, threw it into the river and stepped on the reed to cross the river. Hence the name.

2、 Cultivation principle of skill method

The practice process of this skill should follow the principles from shallow to deep, from easy to difficult, from light to heavy, and from low to high. We should proceed step by step and not rush for success.

3、 Practice steps

Phase I

At the beginning, it is the same as flying skill and lightness skill. That is, take lead sand first and practice galloping on the flat ground.

However, the lead sand bound by the two legs must also be soaked in pig blood according to the previous method to make it into dead lead before it can be used. Take lead from four or two per leg to five kilograms. Usually, it is advisable to wash the legs with liquid medicine to prevent damage.

Prepare a pair of sandbags weighing 5 kg and tie them to your legs. Practice every morning and add 1 kg every 21 days to 20 kg with the increase of skill.

One year later, you can choose the mountain road to continue running. When learning this skill for the first time, the physical consumption should not be too large. When running from slow to fast, the time and distance vary from person to person. The standard is 5km per day. With the increase of Kung Fu, the distance will be gradually extended by 1km every 10 days to 30km (Fig. 1-fig. 6).

At this stage, you have certain skills and can go to the sand to practice light running. Its speed is not what it used to be.

Practice hard for an hour every morning according to the steps of the skill method, but don’t practice too much. You still need to step by step. At first, it was 10 kilometers a day, but it could be extended to 5 kilometers after three weeks. After half a year, the leg skill was slightly successful (Fig. 7-fig. 9).

Phase II

At this stage, you can choose stone steps and sand pits to practice the in-situ jumping method. Practice hard for two hours every morning, divided into six groups, ranging from less to more.

At the practice place, dig a bunker on the flat ground or choose steps to practice. The height is 50 cm. With the increase of skill, the depth can reach 70 cm, and finally up to 1 meter. Those with deep skill can continue to deepen. During the practice, we must be gradual and persistent (Fig. 10-12).

Phase III

After two years, it can be changed to leap practice. Choose a strong tree and practice the light body skill of flying eaves and walls with the help of the trunk.

This skill is practiced for two hours in the morning every day. At first, you can take 1-2 steps to the trunk, reach 3-4 steps after half a year of hard practice, and increase to 5-6 steps after a year. Those with profound skills can take more than a dozen steps. If you practice this skill, you can step on a tree like walking on the ground.

This method takes 3-5 years to cast extraordinary skills (Fig. 13-fig. 17).

This skill is the same as the tree skill on flying body. It is the skill of flying into the air and flying against the wall. The practice steps are the same as above.

This skill must be practiced hard for 3-5 years to succeed (Fig. 18-22).

Phase IV

This stage is very difficult and needs to be practiced on the basis of the third stage. Tie the ordinary long rope on the board (Fig. 23-fig. 31) and row it on both banks of the river. Based on the usual practice, quickly step over the board.

At the beginning of practice, the interval between boards should be 1m. With the increase of skill, it can be changed to 2m practice, and it can be changed to 3m practice after March.

With the continuous growth of skill, it can be changed to 5 meters, and so on until 10 meters. This skill is extraordinary. It takes 8 years to reach this stage.

Phase V

At this stage, you can step on the water to fly. When you encounter a long river more than ten meters wide, you can also fly and step on the water. It is really the magic skill of stepping on the water on the water. (Figure 32-42).

It’s not easy to practice at this stage.

To learn this kind of Kung Fu, you must work hard for more than ten years, and you must calm down and empty Qi to learn it. After daily practice, you must wash the leg potion, that is, add the same amount of rehmannia and salt, and wash it with boiled water and hot soup, then the blood and gas will be harmonious, the skin will be comfortable, and the upper and lower sympathetic body Qi will be studied.
