Jeet Kune Do refers to the use of every part of the hand to attack, emphasizing the unpredictability of rhythm, route, angle, and simple, direct, fast, accurate, powerful and covert strikes. Different techniques vary in tactical use according to different technical characteristics.

Faster attack speed of the finger, hanging pound, punch, mainly play the role of leading attack, counterattack, interception or interference with the opponent. The techniques such as shoveling, medium straight punching, and variable angle straight rushing with tricky attack angles mainly play the effect of changing the situation to control the enemy; Techniques such as hook punches with greater strike power and bent arms upwards take on the task of decisive blows at close range. Overall, Jeet Kune Do techniques offer both speed and power, and can strike at any angle and route, ensuring that Jeet Kune Do practitioners can freely apply them in a variety of situations in martial arts.

According to the attack route, it can be roughly divided into: straight forward technology (punching, index); Bottom-up technique (bent arm upward punch); top-down technique (hanging pounding); Outside-in technique (hook punch, hook palm); Inside-out techniques (hanging pounding), etc.

Punching is a signature punch method that integrates speed and power in Jeet Kune Do, with unpredictable strike angles and attack rhythms, and is the backbone punch method with the highest frequency and efficiency in Jeet Kune Do. Often as an attack-led, in cooperation with other technologies, to implement rapid volley, grab attack, counterattack. The main areas of attack are the head, abdomen and ribs.

【Method of action】

Stand on the right swing pile. 2. Right median punch

[Method of action]

At the same time as the body falls, buckle the shoulders and urge the elbows to punch out. When throwing a punch with a low body, the upper body is slightly inward-leaning in order to increase the attack power while avoiding the straight attack of the opponent’s front punch.

3. Left straight punch

Stand on the right swing pile. The back foot is rotated outward and the center of gravity moves forward to the front foot. Turn the upper body clockwise, send the left shoulder forward to urge the elbow joint to strike the fist directly in front of the nose, when in place, the fist is slightly pronated, high and shoulder level, and the force reaches the three joints and the fist peak under the fist. 4. Left median punch
