There are three commonly used methods for skillfully seizing the stick held by the opponent: shoveling the knee to hit the face, supporting the jaw to the crotch, and swinging the fist to hook and kick.
1. Shovel knee strike surface
When the other party holds a long stick and pierces my abdomen, I immediately dodge to the left and progress, while grasping the front or middle section of the stick with both hands. Then, I use my left foot to shovel the front of the other party’s knee joint, and then strike the other party’s face with my right fist (Figure 1-3).
Key points
Shovel your knees quickly and hit your face hard.
2. Jaw top crotch
When the opponent holds a long stick and sweeps my left ribs, I dodge to the right, lean to the right front of the opponent, and at the same time push the middle of the grasp stick with my left hand, then use my right hand to jerk the opponent’s neck back, use my left knee to push his crotch, and then use my left hand to violently push the opponent’s jaw (Figure 4~8).
【Points】
The jaw should be fast, and the top crotch should be ruthless.
3. Swing and kick
When the opponent holds a long stick and smashes my head, I dodge to the left and lean against him, and at the same time as the club landed, I pressed the middle of the stick with my right foot, forcing him to let go and drop the stick, and then I slammed the opponent’s left face with my right swing fist, and kicked his right foot to step on the joint with my left foot, knocking him down (Figure 9~14).
【Points】
The swing is quick and the hook is powerful.
