Elbow control method is to use elbow compression, elbow pulling, elbow slapping, elbow amputation, wrong elbow and other techniques to intercept the enemy’s elbow, and use the principle of anti-joint to cross the enemy’s elbow joint, so that it is fractured, dislocated or broken.
Elbow restraint is similar to grappling but different from grappling, it is more agile, more damaging and more practical than grappling.
In self-defense, in times of danger, using the elbow method can effectively hit the enemy’s attack power, thereby protecting yourself.
“Kung Fu Martial Arts Cool” has compiled 6 elbow techniques and shared them with everyone.
First, the elbow pressing method
We stand with our left foot in front; The enemy steps up to the right and hits our chest with a straight right fist; We immediately grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with our right hand from bottom to top (Figure 1-1). Keeping moving, our left foot takes a step up to the left, and the right hand continues to pull the enemy’s right wrist back and twist it clockwise so that its elbow is facing upward; At this time, our left hand presses the enemy’s right elbow bone from top to bottom, causing pain or fracture of the right elbow against the joint (Figure 1-2).

Second, the elbow method
We stand with our right foot in front; The enemy steps forward and right, and hits our face with a straight right fist; We immediately grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with our right hand from bottom to top (Figure 2-1). Constantly moving up, we pull the enemy’s right wrist back and twist it clockwise so that the elbow bone is facing up, and then press the enemy’s right elbow bone from top to bottom with our left hand, and step back to the right (Figure 2-2). The upward movement is non-stop, our upper body squats violently, and the legs form a right servant step; Our left hand violently shakes down with the momentum of squatting and presses the enemy’s right elbow bone, and the enemy’s right elbow will be broken (Figure 2-3).

Third, the elbow patting method
We stand with our left foot in front; The enemy steps forward and right, and hits our face with a straight right fist; I leaned back to dodge, and at the same time used my right hand to take a lateral shot of the inside of the enemy’s right wrist to the left, and at the same time with my left hand to the right and laterally cut the enemy’s right elbow bone, and the enemy’s right elbow would be broken by crossing our left and right hands. Figure 3-2 shows the enemy’s elbow slap counterattack with a left straight punch in the face.

4. Elbow amputation
The enemy steps forward and right, and hits us in the head with a right swing; We immediately block outward with our left hand and grab his right wrist (Figure 4-1). Moving upwards, our left foot quickly takes a step to the left, while our right hand passes up and wraps around the enemy’s elbow bone from below his right elbow; Immediately, our left hand pushes the enemy’s right wrist to the left, and at the same time, the right hand violently wraps the enemy’s right elbow to the right, and the two forces stagger and break the enemy’s right elbow (Figure 4-2).

5. Wrong elbow method
We stand with our right foot in front; The enemy steps up to the right and punches us in the face with a straight right punch; We immediately block the defense with our right hand to the left and grab the enemy’s right wrist (Figure 5-1). The upward movement does not stop, our left foot quickly steps forward to the left, and the body twists violently to the right; With the force of twisting, we slammed the enemy’s right elbow bone to the right with the outside of our left forearm, breaking its right elbow (Figure 5-2).

6. Elbow brace
We stand with our right foot in front; The enemy stepped forward and right, and hit our chest with a straight right fist; When we use our left hand to block the enemy’s right fist face downwards (Figure 6-1), we will use our right hand to vigorously lift the enemy’s right elbow bone from the bottom up, and the enemy’s right elbow will be broken (Figure 6-1).
