Bruce Lee has three major skills, that is, “Lee Three Feet”, “Nunchucks” and “Hook Leak Hand”.
Today, I will introduce you to the practical use of “hook and leak hand”.
First, the outer hook hand – punch
1. The two sides confront. (Figure 1, Note: The man is Party A, the woman is Party B, the same below.) Party A and Party B both adopt the fighting style with the right hand as the forehand, which is also the concept of heavy hand punch emphasized by Bruce Lee Jeet Kune Do)

Party A pokes Party B’s eyes with the right hand (forehand) marker, (At this time, Party A’s marker can be a real move or a false move, in most cases, Bruce Lee is using the marker as a false move to tempt the opponent to defend.) Whether it is a real move or a false move, under normal circumstances, the other party will block and defend), and Party B defends Party A’s right hand with the right hand (forehand), and at this time it forms a bridge with Party A’s right hand. At this time, Party A’s right hand is on the outside of Party B’s right hand, which forms an external hook hand. (Figure 2)

3. After the upper movement, Party A’s right hand quickly flexes the wrist to the side of the little finger at this time, and the five fingers hold the bowl of Party B’s right hand forcefully, pulling down to the side of his right body, forcing Party B’s head and upper body to move forward, and at the same time the left hand (back hand) becomes punched, and hits the door of Side B along the front midline of the body. The point here is that Party A’s grip should be swift and powerful, and the downward pulling of Party B’s wrist and the punch of Party B should be carried out at the same time, all in one go. In this way, the forward force of Party B’s head and upper body can form an opposite force with Party A’s punching force, so that Party A’s punching force can reach the maximum.

Second, leakage hand – punching
1. Party A tempts Party B to block outward with its right hand (forehand). (Figure 4)

2. After the upward movement, Party A’s left hand (back hand) quickly penetrates forward along the front midline of the body, and presses down on the wrist of Party B’s right hand (front hand). (Figure 5)

2. Party A pretends to attack the side B with a false move of the left hand (back hand), but in fact, the left hand (back hand) enters the inside of Party B’s right hand (front hand) along the midline of the body. (Figure 8)

3. When Party A’s left hand (back hand) and Party B’s right hand (front hand) form a bridge, Party A’s left hand (back hand) five fingers firmly hold Party B’s right hand (front hand) wrist. (Figure 9)

After the upward movement, Party A immediately pulls the wrist of Party B’s right hand (forehand) to the left side of its body, forcing the enemy’s head and upper body to move forward, and at the same time the right hand (forehand) becomes punching and hitting the door of Party B hard. The essence here is that Party A’s left hand (back hand) should be quick and powerful, and Party B’s wrist should be pulled to the left side of its body and hit the enemy face at the same time, all in one go, and the punch should be fast and powerful. In this way, the forward thrust of Party B’s head and upper body can form an opposite force with Party A’s punching force, so that Party A’s punching force can reach the maximum.
Fourth, the inner leakage hand – punching
1. Party A pretends to attack the side B with a false move of the left hand (back hand), but in fact, the left hand (back hand) enters the inside of Party B’s right hand (front hand) along the midline of the body. (Figure 11)

2. After the upper movement, Party A immediately uses the right hand (forehand) to the left and down to press Party B’s right hand (front hand), while Party A’s left hand (back hand) is recycled to the midline of his chest. (Figure 12)

The gist here is that Party A attacks Party B’s abdomen with a false move, and when Party B hits and intercepts Party A’s false punch, Party A must become a leaky hand – hanging punch at the fastest speed, and the blow should be fast, accurate and ruthless.
