Right-arm blocking, return fire with a left-swing punch or a left-top hook punch (Fig. 66)
When my opponent punches me in the head with a left swing, I quickly lift my right arm up to block the incoming punch. Then immediately return the blow to the opponent’s abdomen with a left upper hook punch.
Dodge backwards and return the blow with a straight right punch to the opponent’s head (Fig. 67)
When dodging backwards, shift your weight to the back (right) foot, lower your chin slightly, and quickly hit your opponent in the head with your right straight punch.
Swing from left to right and return the head with a right flat hook punch (Figure 68)
The shaking action involves bending the knee and lowering the center of gravity, so that the opponent’s fist slides over his head. After the dodge, hit the ground with your right foot, turn to the left, and return the blow to the head with a flat hook punch on the right.
