When my opponent’s right straight punch is two-thirds of the way, I open my right hand to block the incoming punch in front of my jaw, shift my weight to my right foot, and immediately return the blow with my left straight punch or left swing punch.

Precautions,

(1) Master the defensive movements before practicing the return action.

(2) Due to the large force of the right straight boxing, the upper body can be moved back while blocking with the right hand.

Left shoulder blocking, return the head with a right swing punch or a right straight punch (Figure 58)

When the opponent punches me in the head with a right straight box. I quickly lifted my left shoulder, protected my chin with my left shoulder, turned my upper body slightly to the right, moved my body sharply to my right foot, and at the same time placed my left hand on the inside of my left shoulder to protect my chin, and hit him in the head with a right swing punch or a right straight fist.

Note: The defending side should turn the shoulder to defend when the opponent punches one-half of the distance, not too early.

Slap the left hand to the right to block and hit the abdomen with the right upper hook punch (Fig. 59)

When my opponent punches two-thirds of the way to his right straight punch, I slap the lower part of my opponent’s glove and wrist with my left hand, and then immediately return the blow in the abdomen with my right upper hook.

Notes :

(1) If the distance is far, you can use the front sliding step combined with the right upper hook to fight back after defense.

(2) Use the wrist to explode when striking, and the amplitude of the action is small and fast.
