A combination of basic taekwondo techniques

1. Block the right elbow strike

(1) Prepare to stand with both feet parallel (Figure 193).

(2) Move the left foot forward towards the opponent (hypothetically) and stand in an L-shape with the right leg (Figure 194)

(3) Use the hand knife to prevent the opponent’s attack (Figure 195).

(4) Use the right forearm to prevent the lower section, and use the left inner forearm to block to the high side, while sliding forward with the left foot (Figure 196).

(5) Use the left forearm to prevent the high section (Figure 197).

2. Block the left elbow strike

(1) Prepare to stand with both feet parallel (Figure 199).

(2) Move your right foot towards your opponent and stand in an L-shape with your left foot (Figure 200).

4. Block the elbow

(1) Stand with both feet parallel (Figure 211).

5. Hook palm and forearm blocking

6. Two-palm blocking

7. Block the punch outward and downward

8. Flat fist and elbow poke

(1) Open the feet parallel (Figure 235).

12. Cross Fist Block High Punch

13. Anti-middle and lower section to push the palm

A good taekwondo fighter must be able to continuously use his hands, wrists and elbows to perform the most effective offensive and defensive movements in a very short period of time. In this section, at the level of mastering a certain gravel movement earlier, the combined exercises of the more advanced hand branch are shown and taught, which are more standardized.

The hands are known to be the most flexible part of the human body. Therefore, the technique of the hand is most important when used in attack and defense or freestyle fighting.
