8 types of fighting ground rolling

Ground rolling is an important technique for self-defense. In the case of being captured, you can use the weight of your body to sit on the ground, so as to bring the enemy down to relieve the threat of enemy capture, and at the same time roll on the ground with the movement of hands and feet to fight back to severely damage or fall the enemy. Or use your body to roll on the ground and cooperate with the grappling motion to break free from the enemy’s grip and counteract it.

1. Sit on the ground with your legs in your arms

The enemy strikes us in the chest and abdomen with a right leg kick; We immediately slide to the left and turn right to dodge (Figure 1-1). While dodging, we quickly grabbed the enemy’s right calf with both hands and clamped the enemy’s right ankle tightly under our right armpit (Fig. 1-2).

Immediately afterwards, we kick the inside of the knee joint of the enemy’s support leg (left leg) with our left foot and knock it down (Figs. 1-3). At the moment when the enemy fell to the ground, our side continued to hold the enemy’s right calf, and at the same time fell left and backward on the ground, and lifted the enemy’s right calf up with both hands, so that the enemy’s right anterior ankle ligament was traumatized by excessive dorsal extension (Figures 1-4).

Second, hit the knee and roll on the ground

We were thrown to the ground by the enemy, who tried to stomp on our head with his right foot to severely damage us (Figure 2-1). We quickly supported the ground with our right hand, kicked the ground hard with both feet, rushed forward, hugged the enemy’s calf with our left hand, and slammed out the enemy’s left knee joint with our left shoulder, causing the enemy to fall (Figure 2-2).

Approaching, immediately after the enemy falls, our side rolls to the left half a circle, clings to the enemy’s left knee joint with the left hand, and grabs the enemy’s left ankle joint with the right hand and lifts it up forcefully, so that the enemy’s knee joint is overextended forward and restrained (Figure 2-3).

Third, the top knee side pedal

We fell to the ground (right side), and the enemy kicked us with his left leg (Figure 3-1). At this point, we quickly retracted our hips, lifted our left knee, and pushed our left ankle with our left knee against the enemy’s kick (Fig. 3-2).

Immediately afterwards, our side immediately slammed the inside of the opponent’s right knee joint with our left foot, causing the enemy to lose his center of gravity and fall (Fig. 3-3).

Fourth, swing your hips and hit your knees

The enemy rode on our upper body, grabbed me by the collar with one hand, and punched me on the head with the other; We quickly swung our feet and hips vigorously, forcing the enemy to be unstable and have to sit up straight (Figure 4-1). While the enemy was sitting up straight, we quickly slammed our knees against the enemy’s tail vertebrae, causing it to fall forward (Figs. 4-2, Fig. 4-3).

5. Squeeze elbow rolling (1)

The enemy rode on our upper body and pinched my neck with both hands; With our hands together, we clasp the outside of the elbow joint of the enemy’s hands with our forearms and squeeze inward forcefully, causing the enemy’s elbows to run in opposite joints and hurt to weaken the force of their hands on our neck (Figure 5-1). Immediately afterwards, our bodies rolled to the left, our arms clasped and forcefully brought to the left, causing the enemy to fall from the left side (Figure 5-2).

6. Squeeze and roll (2)

The enemy rode on our upper body and strangled me by the neck with both hands; We immediately grabbed the enemy’s left wrist with our right hand and wrenched the outside of the enemy’s left elbow joint with our left hand (Figure 6-1). Immediately afterwards, we use both hands at the same time, breaking our right hand to the right and pulling our left hand to the left, causing pain in the enemy’s left elbow joint and falling to our left side (Figure 6-2). Then, I roll to the left and press the enemy, grab the back of the enemy’s left palm with my left hand downward, press the enemy’s left elbow with my right hand from above, and squeeze the enemy’s left wrist joint with my left hand to make it excessive forward flexion and cause pain and restraint (Figure 6-3).

7. Turn around with your legs clamped

Our side was thrown to the ground by the enemy, who pounced on us and tried to choke us by the throat with both hands; We quickly grabbed both wrists of the enemy with both hands (Figure 7-1). Then we raised our feet to clasp the enemy’s shoulders, and used both knees to squeeze the enemy’s elbows inward, causing pain to the enemy (Figure 7-2). Immediately afterwards, we raised our hips, clamped our feet around the enemy’s neck, rolled hard with our body to one side, and threw the enemy out of the side, causing the enemy’s head to hit the ground and injuring him (Fig. 7-3).

8. Kick the crotch and press the elbow

Our side was thrown to the ground by the enemy, who pounced on us and tried to choke us by the throat with both hands; We quickly grabbed both wrists of the enemy with both hands (Figure 8-1). Immediately afterwards, we retract our feet and rest the soles of our feet on the enemy’s hip joint (Figure 8-2). Then we kick our feet straight and pull our hands up, kicking the enemy out and sliding down (Figure 8-3). Immediately after kicking our legs, we roll to the right, grab and pull the enemy’s right hand with both hands, lift the left leg and swing right, and press the enemy’s right elbow with the left thigh, so that it is painful and restrained (Figure 8-4).
