The boxing proverb goes: “Three points of danger when you get up, but a good leg is not a knee”. This means that when attacking with a leg in combat combat, it is easy to fall because one leg supports the center of gravity of the body, and it is easy to be caught or blocked by the opponent.
Therefore, the real fighting masters in traditional Chinese martial arts are mainly based on low-leg kicks, hooks and links, and use body techniques, techniques, and footwork to destroy the center of gravity support points of the enemy’s front and rear legs and attack the enemy’s key acupuncture points.

In the following icons, the person in red is us, and the person in black is the enemy.
First, hook and kick
Neither the enemy nor us handed over their hands in a guarded position on the right. When handing over the hand, the center of gravity of the body is on the back leg (left leg), including the chest and abdomen, looking at the shoulders of the other person, and sweeping the afterglow (Figure 1). Our side suddenly grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with our right hand and pulled the strap back; At the same time, after the upper left foot to the enemy’s right heel, trip the enemy’s right leg with our left leg; and grab the enemy’s left shoulder with his left hand (Figure 2). Immediately afterwards, our left foot kicked the enemy’s right foot forward and upward; At the same time, swing the left arm backward and downward and forcefully cut the enemy’s chest, and the coupling force formed by the staggered force of the leg and arm up and down will throw the enemy backwards to the ground (Figure 3).
Second, progress stomping feet
Both the enemy and we are on guard in the right hand (Figure 4). Our side suddenly grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with our right hand, quickly turned right and pulled the enemy’s right arm hard towards our right waist; We then quickly step forward and left behind the enemy’s right leg to tripped the enemy’s right leg, while passing the left arm from the enemy’s left armpit and pinning the enemy’s chest back, forming a coupling force of crossed scissors up and down (Figure 5). Taking advantage of the moment when the enemy’s attention was trying to break free from our attack of pulling arms and legs and cutting chests, we quickly slammed the inside of the enemy’s left ankle with the sole of our right foot, causing severe pain; Immediately afterwards, our center of gravity shifted to the left leg and slammed the enemy’s shoulder ribs with our left shoulder to knock the enemy back (Figure 6).
Third, step on the face
Both the enemy and we are on guard in the right form (Figure 7). Our side suddenly grabs the enemy’s right wrist with our left hand and pulls the enemy’s right arm back hard, sealing the enemy’s forehand and tilting his upper body forward and his face into our attacking range; At the same time, the upper right foot stomps the enemy’s right instep and presses his right foot, causing it severe pain and unable to attack forward and retreat backwards to escape; Taking advantage of this opportunity, we quickly pounced on the enemy’s front with our right palm and pushed forward with force, dazzling the enemy’s nose pain and forcing the enemy’s center of gravity to fall backwards and fall unbalanced (Figure 8).
Fourth, progress and legs
Both the enemy and our enemies are on guard in the right form (Figure 9). Our side suddenly grabbed the enemy’s right arm with both hands and pulled his right waist, forcing the enemy to lean forward; We then slammed forward with our right foot on the knee or shin of the enemy’s right leg. The enemy’s knee or tibia can easily be broken by kicking and breaking the leg under the combined attack of our arms back and legs forward (Figure 10).
5. Kick your legs
Both the enemy and we are on guard in the right hand (Figure 11). We grasp the enemy’s right wrist with our right hand, and use our left hand to cloud the hand from the inside of the enemy’s right arm to the outside, ready to change hands; At the same time, lift the left knee and bring the left thigh as close to the chest as possible to accumulate strength (Figure 12). Immediately afterwards, our left hand grabbed the enemy’s right wrist and pulled the enemy’s right arm to our left waist, and while the enemy’s upper body leaned forward, our left leg was ejected forward like a spring, and we slammed the enemy’s chest ribs with our right heel. One pull, one kick, and the combination of two forces will seriously injure the enemy’s chest and ribs (Figure 13).
6. Hang your legs and kick your knees
Both sides stand in a right-hand fighting style and confront each other (Figure 14). The enemy turned to the right and kicked the outer thigh muscle group of our right thigh with the left whip leg; We immediately raised our right leg and blocked the enemy’s left ankle with our right heel (Figure 15). While the enemy’s left leg did not hit the ground, our right leg quickly changed to a side kick and kicked the inside of the knee joint of the enemy’s supporting leg (right leg). Since the knee joint can only be bent backwards and cannot move left and right, the inside of the knee joint of the enemy’s right leg is kicked, and the enemy will fall to the left side (Figure 16).
7. Kick your hands and knees
Both the enemy and we are on guard in the right form (Figure 17). Our side took the initiative to attack, taking advantage of the enemy’s unpreparedness, suddenly grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with his left hand and pulled the enemy’s right arm back hard, while raising his right knee to charge and prepare for the attack (Figure 18). Immediately afterwards, we kicked the enemy’s right leg forward and downwards with a low right leg, seriously injuring the enemy’s knee (Figure 19).
8. Kick your ribs
We are on guard on the right (Figure 20). The enemy attacks us, attacking our upper plate with our right fist, and while our right hand blocks outward, we grab the enemy’s right wrist and pull the enemy’s right arm back hard, while lifting the right knee to charge up and prepare for a counterattack (Fig. 21). Moving upward, our side quickly kicked out our right leg and kicked the enemy’s right rib violently, inflicting heavy damage on the enemy (Fig. 22).
