Muay Thai is exquisite: prefer elbows and knees to fists. This shows that elbow has a very important place in Muay Thai.
The elbow method of Muay Thai is divided into: flat elbow, chasing elbow (flat, oblique), smashing elbow, chopping elbow (single and double), prying elbow, and reverse elbow (up, flat, bottom).
The targets of the Muay Thai elbow method are mainly the eyebrow angle, forehead, nasal bone, throat, jaw, top of head, behind the ears, celiac plexus, ribs, back heart, etc. In particular, elbow strikes can cause blood flow on the opponent’s head, blurred vision, and loss of combat effectiveness.
“Kung Fu Martial Arts Cool” has compiled a set of actual combat fighting moves with Muay Thai elbow method active attack and shared it with everyone.
This is a combination of 7 groups of Muay Thai active offensive punches, without giving the opponent a chance to breathe, until the KO, a simple and fierce sequel.
1. Left flat elbow hit head + right flat elbow hit head
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and enter the body, swinging the tip of the left elbow from the left side of the body to the front of the body, reaching the tip of the elbow, and hitting the right side of the opponent’s head (Figure 1-1). Push upwards and attack the opponent’s left head or neck with your right flat elbow (Figures 1-2). The flat elbow in Muay Thai is equivalent to the swing elbow in Chinese martial arts.

Second, the left elbow hits the chest + the right elbow hits the neck
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while hitting the opponent’s chest forward with our left elbow (Figure 2-1). Continuing upward movement, we then hit the opponent’s left head or neck with a right elbow (Figs. 2-2). Elbow chasing in Muay Thai is equivalent to the top elbow in Chinese martial arts, and smashing elbow is equivalent to splitting elbows.

3. Left flat elbow hit head + right flat elbow hit head
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while attacking the right side of the opponent’s head with our left flat elbow (Figure 3-1). Constantly moving upward, we turn our body back to the right, move our right foot with it, and sweep the right side of the opponent’s head with our right flat elbow (Figure 3-2). Muay Thai’s reverse elbow is the equivalent of a turn back elbow sweep in Chinese martial arts.

4. Right elbow to hit the jaw + right elbow to hit chest
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while striking the opponent’s jaw or face with our right elbow (Figure 4-1). The upward movement continued, and then we immediately smashed the opponent’s chest with a right chopped elbow (Figure 4-2). The elbow pry in Muay Thai is equivalent to the elbow picking in Chinese martial arts, and the elbow stomp is equivalent to smashing the elbow.

5. Right elbow hit chest + right upper elbow hit jaw
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We step forward and right and advance while hitting the chest with our right elbow (Figure 5-1). Continuing upward movement, we quickly turn back to the right, move our left foot, and slam the opponent’s left jaw with our upper right elbow (Figure 5-2).

6. Hit the head with the left elbow + hit the brain with the right elbow
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while striking the right side of the opponent’s head with our left elbow (Figure 6-1). Constantly moving upwards, we took advantage of the heavy head injury of the opponent and bowed forward, and quickly smashed the back of the opponent’s head or neck with the right elbow to severely damage him (Figure 6-2).

7. Right elbow pry to hit the jaw + left lower elbow to hit the back
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while striking the opponent’s jaw with our right elbow (Figure 7-1). Constantly moving upwards, as we step back in the opposite direction, we quickly turn back to the left and slam the opponent’s back with our lower left elbow (Figure 7-2).

8. Left elbow hit chest + right elbow hit face
Reserve: Both sides stand in a left-hand fighting style and face each other. We slide forward and advance while hitting the opponent’s chest with our left elbow (Figure 8-1). The upward movement continued, and we immediately slammed the opponent’s face with our right elbow (Figure 8-2).
