Hong Quan belongs to the traditional Chinese boxing art and is one of the representatives of the Southern School of boxing, and together with Liu, Li, Cai and Mo, it is known as the five famous boxers in Guangdong.

“I have compiled 8 classic Hong Fist loose hand moves and shared them with everyone.

1. Cut the palm top elbow

1. Preparatory form of “cutting the palm and elbow”: our side (left) and the enemy stand and face each other in a left fighting style (Figure 1);

2. The enemy steps on the left, punches me with a left lunge and a left punch; We immediately flicked the enemy’s left forearm outward with our right hand (Figure 2);

3. Without stopping, we use the outside of the left palm to violently cut the enemy’s left ear root or temple forward, while protecting the right hand in front of the right jaw (Figure 3);

4. Immediately after the upward movement, we slide forward and get close, and at the same time use our left elbow to jerk forward against the enemy’s heart socket, severely damaging the enemy (Figure 4).

Second, the standard refers to the double punch

1. The preparatory form of “Finger Double Punch”: our side (right) stands in the right fighting style, the enemy stands in the left fighting style, and the two sides face each other (Figure 5);

2. The enemy slides forward and attacks our chest and ribs with a straight left fist; We immediately block the enemy’s incoming punch with our right hand downwards, while piercing the enemy’s eyes with the marked finger of our left hand (Figure 6);

3. If we keep moving, we will insert the finger of our right hand into the enemy’s eyes or throat (Figure 7);

4. Immediately after the upward movement, we step up to the left and close and slam the enemy’s chest and ribs with both fists (Figure 8).

Third, the bridge punches the tiger claw

1. The preparatory form of “Bridge Punching Tiger Claw”: our side (left) and the enemy stand and confront each other in a left fighting style (Figure 9);

2. The enemy steps up to the left and closes and hits our upper plate with a straight left fist; Our right foot immediately steps forward to the right, dodges to the right to avoid the enemy’s incoming punch, and at the same time uses the enemy’s left forearm to defuse the enemy’s left fist attack (Figure 10);

3. Keep moving up, our side quickly goes up to the left foot behind the enemy’s left foot, and at the same time grabs the enemy’s left arm with the left hand and pulls it down to the left, and hits the enemy’s back and kidney with the right fist (Figure 11);

4. Immediately after the upward movement, our right hand immediately turns into a tiger claw and recovers, and then slams forward with the root of the right palm to the back of the enemy’s head or the back of the cervical vertebrae (Figure 12).

Fourth, draw the bridge punch

1. The preparatory form of “Bridge Punch”: our side (left) and the enemy stand and confront each other in the right fighting style (Figure 13);

2. The enemy slides forward and closes and hits us in the face with a straight left fist; We immediately block the enemy’s left forearm defense with our right forearm, while attacking the enemy’s chest with our left straight fist (Fig. 14);

3. Without stopping, our side immediately slides forward and closes, puts the left hand back in front of the left jaw, and at the same time slams the enemy’s front with the right straight fist (Fig. 15).

5. Cut the elbow and bear the elbow

1. The preparatory form of “amputating the elbow and bearing the elbow”: our side (right) and the enemy stand and confront each other in the left fighting style (Figure 16);

2. The enemy slides forward and hits our chest with a straight left fist; Our right foot immediately takes a small step forward to the right, turns to the left to dodge the enemy’s incoming punches, and at the same time cuts the enemy’s left forearm at the enemy’s left wrist with the left arm inward, and violently hits the enemy’s left elbow joint with the outside of the right forearm, breaking the enemy’s left elbow by staggering (Fig. 17);

3. Taking advantage of the pain caused by the enemy’s left elbow injury, our side quickly steps to the right, twists to the left, and with the help of the force of twisting and rotating, uses the left elbow forward and upwards to provoke the enemy’s jaw (Figure 18).

6. Tiger claws pedaling

1. The preparatory form of “tiger claw kicking”: our side (left) stands in the right fighting style, the enemy stands in the left fighting style, and the two sides face each other (Figure 19);

2. The enemy slides forward and attacks our head with a left straight fist or a left swing fist; We immediately block the defense with our right forearm, while grabbing the enemy’s side with our left claw (Figure 20);

3. The upward movement is non-stop, and our hands quickly catch the enemy’s arms to prevent him from escaping or attacking; At the same time, while the enemy’s upper set was being hit and his attention was on the middle and upper set, our side quickly hit the enemy’s lower plate abdomen or vulva with a left leg (Figure 21).

7. Intercept and split palms

1. The preparatory form of “intercepting and splitting the palm”: our side (left) and the enemy stand and face each other in the right fighting style (Figure 22);

2. The enemy steps up to the left, punches me in the head with a straight right hand, and punches me in the abdomen with a straight left fist at the same time; We immediately block the enemy’s right fist with our left hand outward and downward with our right hand to block the enemy’s left fist (Figure 23);

3. Keep moving upward, our right hand grasps and presses the enemy’s left arm, and at the same time smashes the enemy’s right ear root or right neck with the left palm (Figure 24).

8. Split shovel feet

1. The preparatory form of “splitting and shoveling feet”: our side (left) and the enemy both stand and confront each other in a left-hand fighting style (Figure 25);

2. The enemy steps up to the left and attacks our face with a straight left fist; We immediately defended with our left forearm (Figure 26);

3. The enemy then hits our ribs with the right whip leg, and we immediately use the outside of the left forearm to slash the enemy’s right calf diagonally from top to bottom to intercept the enemy’s right whip leg attack (Figure 27);

4. Without stopping, our side quickly kicked the knee of the enemy’s right leg with the left shovel leg, kicking the enemy down (Fig. 28).
