70s PLA capture and Grappling fighting tutorial-illustration-
#MMA#The PLA has always attached great importance to the training of hand-to-hand combat and grappling skills on the battlefield. “Kung Fu Martial Arts Cool” sorted out the PLA’s grappling and capturing fighting tutorials in the 70s of the last century to share with you.

This is a sequel to the 1971 PLA Scout Fighting Tutorial, which once beat foreign troops to the ground.

1. Capture from behind

(1) Kicking the knee and locking the throat

1. Our army approached the enemy army covertly and quietly from the back of the enemy, when 5-6 steps away from the enemy, our side quickly jumped up behind the enemy, the left foot landed into a supporting leg, the body immediately turned left, and at the same time raised the right foot, the foot was at the same height as the enemy’s knee socket, both arms were bent, the right hand was extended above the enemy’s shoulder, palm down (Figure 1-1);

2. Without stopping, our side kicks the enemy’s knee socket with our right foot, taking advantage of the enemy’s body to lean back, we quickly insert our right forearm under the enemy’s chin, press the enemy’s throat with the inner bone, grasp his right wrist with his left hand, lock the enemy’s neck and neck with both arms, and at the same time land on the ground with his right foot, and press the back of the enemy’s head forward with his right shoulder, so that the enemy’s neck artery, throat and trachea are compressed and suffocate the insufficient blood supply and oxygen supply to his brain, and our side captures the enemy (Figure 1-2).

(2) Hold your knees and lock your throat

1. Our army approached the enemy army covertly and quietly from the back of the enemy, and when it was 5-6 steps away from the enemy, our side quickly jumped behind the enemy army, with both legs in a right lunge; Then our troops immediately leaned forward, hugged the enemy’s knees with both hands and pulled them back, and at the same time hit the enemy’s hips with their right shoulders forward, and the two forces combined to throw the enemy down in one (Figure 2-1);

2. After falling the enemy troops, our troops quickly rode on the rear waist of the enemy (right leg kneeling on the ground, left leg extended forward), inserted the right forearm under the enemy’s chin, pressed the enemy’s throat with the inner bone, grabbed the enemy’s right wrist with the left hand, and locked the enemy’s neck tightly with both arms to capture the enemy. If the enemy falls to the ground and turns over, our troops can ride on the chest and abdomen of the enemy and hit the root of the enemy’s ear with a fist, knocking the enemy unconscious (Figure 2-2).

(3) Push the neck and pull out the crotch

1. Our army approached the enemy army covertly and quietly from the back of the enemy, and when it was 5-6 steps away from the enemy, it quickly jumped up, and the left foot fell to the outside of the enemy’s left foot, the legs formed a left lunge, the right hand was inserted into the enemy’s crotch, and the left hand was placed on the back neck of the enemy; Immediately afterwards, our army took out the enemy’s egg with his right hand and pulled it up and lifted it back, while pushing the back of the enemy’s neck with his left hand forward and down, throwing the enemy soldier down on the face (Figure 3-1);

2. If the enemy immediately turns over after falling forward, our army quickly lies on the right side, raises the left leg and uses the left heel to slam the enemy’s lower negative point from top to bottom (Figure 3-2).

(4) Stumbling and falling

Our troops approached the enemy army covertly and quietly from the enemy’s back, and when 5-6 steps away from the enemy, quickly jumped behind the enemy’s back, with both legs in a right lunge; Immediately, our army grabbed the enemy’s right ankle with his right hand and lifted it up, while pushing forward and down on the enemy’s back with his left hand, and hooked the enemy’s left leg with his left leg, and the three forces combined to throw the enemy forward (Figure 4).

2. Gun arrest

(5) Prevent back attacks

Our army quietly approached the enemy from behind it; When the enemy found out that he had no time to turn around, he immediately hit me back on the head with the butt of his gun; Our troops quickly dodged to the left into a left lunge, while blocking the enemy’s right forearm with the right forearm to avoid the enemy’s rifle butt; Immediately, our troops stepped up to the right and approached, and slashed at the enemy’s ribs with their left fists (palms) (Figure 5).

Taking advantage of the enemy’s rearing when he was hit, our troops pinned down the enemy with their right arm locked in their throats.

(6) Anti-left hook kick

1. Our army quietly approached the enemy army from behind it, and after the enemy discovered it, he suddenly turned left and stabbed his gun at our army; Our troops quickly marched to the right and forward, and at the same time blocked the enemy’s gunner with his left hand and pulled it back to his left forearm, and tightly buckled it on his left waist (Figure 6-1);

2. Without stopping, our army quickly stepped up to the left and approached, struck the enemy in the head with his right fist, and at the same time kicked the enemy’s left heel with his right foot to knock the enemy down (Figure 6-2);

3. Constantly moving upwards, our troops quickly rode on the chest and abdomen of the enemy, jammed the enemy’s throat with their left hand, and continuously struck the root of the enemy’s ear with their right fist, until they were subdued (Figure 6-3).

(7) Anti-stabbing kick

1. Our army quietly approached the enemy army from behind it, and the enemy army found it, suddenly turned right and stabbed our army in the abdomen with a gun; Our army’s left foot immediately stepped forward to the left into a left lunge, and at the same time used his right hand to block the enemy’s gun and pull it back against his right forearm, and buckle it on his right waist (Fig. 7-1);

2. The upward movement does not stop, and our side quickly kicks the enemy’s lower vulva with a left-foot bounce (Figure 7-2);

(8) Don’t kick your elbows

1. Our army approached the enemy army from behind the enemy, and after the enemy found it, he turned around and stabbed our army in the left chest with a gun; Our army’s right foot quickly stepped forward to the right, dodged and dodged, while the left hand blocked the enemy’s gun, pulled back, clinged to the left forearm, and buckled it around the left waist; Immediately afterwards, our troops put on their left foot, and immediately inserted their right hand under the enemy’s left arm, grabbed the enemy’s gun and pinned the enemy’s right elbow with his right forearm, while vigorously kicking the enemy’s left knee with his left foot (Figure 8-1);

2. After our army fell the enemy through the combined force of pulling the gun back, pinning the elbow and kicking the knee, our army quickly hit the enemy chest with the butt of the gun and subdued the enemy (Figure 8-2).

(9) Push the gun to press the elbow

1. Our army approached the enemy army from behind the enemy, and after the enemy found it, he turned around and stabbed our army in the right chest with a gun; Our left foot quickly stepped forward to the right into a left lunge, dodged and dodged, while the left hand blocked the enemy’s gun, pulled back, clinging to the left forearm, and buckled around the left waist; Then use his left hand to cut the enemy’s left wrist and make him unloaded (Figure 9-1);

2. Immediately after the upward movement, our army immediately went up to the right foot, turned left 90 degrees, pushed the gun forward with the right hand, hit the enemy’s lower negative point with the butt of the gun to force it to bend over and lean over, and our army immediately took the opportunity to use the right hand to press down and the enemy’s left elbow joint to subdue the enemy (Figure 9-2).

(10) Grabbing guns with curling wrists

The enemy, armed with a pistol in his right hand, stepped forward to interrogate our scouts; Taking advantage of the enemy’s unpreparedness, our army quickly pushed and grabbed the right wrist of the enemy’s gun from the outside to the inside with its left hand, and at the same time dodged to the right side of the enemy with a left stride, dodged the enemy’s muzzle, and firmly grasped the enemy’s right hand with both hands; Our right leg immediately retreated to the left and turned 180 degrees to the right back into a left lunge (Fig. 10), while both hands violently rolled the enemy’s right wrist to subdue the enemy.

(11) Push arms and knees

The enemy stepped forward with a pistol in his right hand, intending to search the waist of our scouts with his left hand; Our troops quickly pushed the enemy’s left arm with their right hand, while turning right (Fig. 11); Immediately afterwards, our troops quickly crouched down and threw the enemy into uniform with a knee-hugging motion.

3. Knife arrest

(12) Blocking other arms

1. The enemy stepped up to the right, holding a dagger in his right hand and piercing our army in the chest; Our left foot immediately dodged to the right front to avoid the attack of the enemy’s dagger, and at the same time blocked, grabbed, and twisted the enemy’s right wrist with his left hand, and then kicked the enemy’s lower vulva with his right foot (Figure 12-1);

2. The upward movement does not stop, our army’s right foot falls forward in front of the enemy’s right foot, taking advantage of the enemy’s lower yin being kicked forward and bending over, our army sharply picks the enemy’s right elbow with its right forearm, and at the same time turns to the right with the upper left foot, and uses the right hand not to press the enemy’s right arm, forcing the enemy to squat; Our troops immediately retreated with their right foot, curled their swords with their left hands, and subdued the enemy (Figure 12-2).

(13) Cut the other arm

1. The enemy stepped up to the right, holding a dagger in his right hand and stabbing our army in the abdomen; Our left arm quickly cut outward to hit the enemy’s right forearm, and the right fist changed to a palm on the left forearm, while the left foot flashed to the right front, and the right foot kicked the enemy’s lower shadow and fell forward into a right lunge (Figure 13-1);

2. After the upper movement, our army took advantage of the enemy’s inferior yin to bend forward and bend forward, insert the enemy’s right arm in the left arm, pull and press the enemy’s right elbow with the left hand, and slash down the back of the enemy’s neck with the right hand, and at the same time turn the upper left foot to the right, forcing the enemy to squat, and our army rolled the enemy’s right wrist with the right hand to seize the enemy’s dagger and subdue the enemy (Figure 13-2).

Fourth, beat and catch the enemy

(14) Leg holding

1. The enemy army stepped up to the right and attacked our army with his right fist; Our side quickly blocked the enemy’s right fist attack with the outer arm of the left forearm, and at the same time stepped up and right into a right lunge, and slammed the enemy’s face with the right straight fist (Figure 14-1);

2. Taking advantage of the enemy’s face being hit and the upper body leaning back, our army bent forward and leaned forward, hugged the enemy’s knee socket with both hands and pulled it back up, and at the same time hit the enemy’s abdomen forward with his right shoulder, and the two forces combined to fall the enemy on his back (Figure 14-2);

After dropping the enemy, our army can quickly ride on the chest and abdomen of the enemy and subdue the enemy with moves such as choking the throat and ears.

(15) Stumbling

1. The enemy attacked our army with a right fist; Our army immediately grabbed the right wrist of the enemy with his left hand, and at the same time stepped forward with his left foot, tripped the right heel of the enemy with his upper right foot, and pushed the enemy in the face with his right fist, knocking the enemy down (Fig. 15-1);

2. After the upper movement, our army quickly stepped forward, lifting the enemy’s left arm and right foot with the left hand, and pushing the left elbow with the right hand, forcing the enemy to turn over; Our troops quickly rode into a figure-8 binding position and subdued the enemy troops (Figure 15-2).
