40 methods of attacking and defending the Southern Fist

Nanquan routines are short and sharp, compact in structure, simple in movement, changeable in technique, short hand combo, steady footwork, brave attack, often accompanied by sound support, strong technique.

Nanquan is very suitable for self-defense and self-defense fighting, and today “Kung Fu Wushu Cool” has sorted out a set of Nanquan offensive and defensive sparring essence routines and shared it with everyone.

Preparatory Formula:

Party A (those wearing white long-sleeved shirts), Party B (those wearing black trousers). The two people stand a small step left and right, facing in the same direction (Figure 0).

Party A’s foot sounded in an earthquake, and then he kicked Party B’s cross with his left leg. Party B steps into a horse step on the side of his left foot, and uses his right palm to prevent the left foot kicked by Party A (Figure 1).

Party B steps up with his left foot and turns right into a horse step, punching Party A’s chest with a left punch. Party A’s left foot retracts and lands in front of the left into a left lunge, while using the right arm bridge to prevent Party B’s rushing left fist (Figure 2).

Party B turns left into a left lunge, and at the same time punches Party A’s head with a right punch (Figure 3-1). When Party B’s right fist hits its head, Party A uses the right sinking bridge to prevent it from opening (Figure 3-2). The right palm is then inserted straight into Party B’s throat (Figure 3-3).

Party B holds Party A’s right wrist with his right wrapped hand (Figure 4-1). Party A turns right into a horse step, and at the same time pulls back with the left bridge and the external rotation of the right arm to release Party B’s right hand (Figure 4-2).

When Party B disengages Party A’s left hand through the bridge, the right hand holds Party A’s left wrist (Figure 5-1). Party A holds Party B’s right wrist with his left hand (Figure 5-2). Party B turns right into a horse step, while pulling the right arm externally and pulling back, and using the left bridge to release Party A’s left hand (Figure 5-3). When Party B’s right hand breaks free, Party A quickly advances his left foot into a left lunge and hits B with his right palm (Figure 5-4).

Party B turns left into a left lunge, and at the same time uses the left bridge to prevent the right palm thrown by Party A, and then rushes towards Party A’s face with its right fist (Figure 6-1). When Party B’s right fist rushes towards the face, Party A quickly takes a small step to the left with the left foot, turns right and dodges to avoid it, and at the same time slashes Party B’s head with his left fist (Figure 6-2).

Party B’s right bridge is erected to prevent Party A’s split left fist, and at the same time kicks Party A’s knee with his right foot (Figure 7-1). Party A quickly turns left and kneels to the right, while splitting his right fist to prevent Party B’s right foot from being opened (Figure 7-2).

Party B makes a cover step with his right foot to the left, then turns left into a left lunge, and hits Party A’s head with his left fist to the left (Figure 8-1). Party A uses the right bridge to prevent it from opening when Party B’s left fist is hung, and then steps up with the right foot to the right into a dragon step, while the left fist hits Party B’s left rib with a counter-impact punch (Figure 8-2).

Party B uses the left plate bridge to prevent Party A’s left fist, and then takes a triangular step with the left foot first, and strikes the left back side of Party A’s head with a right-hand punch (Figure 9-1). Party A gets up and turns left and uses the left bridge to prevent Party B’s right palm (Figure 9-2). Immediately afterwards, Party A’s right foot steps up into a right lunge, while the right fist turns into a tiger claw and grabs Party B’s crotch (Figure 9-3).

Party B takes a step back with his right foot, and at the same time uses his left palm to prevent the right tiger claw (Figure 10-1) from being provoked by Party A, then turns left into a left lunge, and at the same time strikes Party A’s head forward with his right fist, Party A quickly dodges backwards to avoid and uses the right tiger claw to prevent Party B’s right fist (Figure 10-2), and then the left fist turns into a tiger claw and grabs Party B’s face (Figure 10-3).

Party B uses the left bridge to prevent the tiger claw caught by Party A, and at the same time the left foot first takes the left triangle step, and then uses the right fist to impact the left rib of Party A (Figure 11-1). Party A turns left and steps up with his left foot into a left imaginary step, while using the left tiger claw to pull down to prevent the impact of Party B’s right fist; Immediately afterwards, Party A grabbed the B side with its right tiger claw (Figure 11-2).

Party B’s right foot bypasses the left foot forward to do a cover step to the left, and at the same time the right fist is whipped horizontally to hit Party A’s waist; Party A’s right foot bypasses the front of the left foot to the left to make a cover step, and releases Party B’s right fist with the right whip fist (Figure 14).

Party B turns left into a horse stride, and at the same time hits Party A on the head with a left hanging fist; Party A turns left and crosses the bridge left to prevent Party B’s hanging left fist (Figure 15-1). Immediately after the upward movement, Party A’s upper body continues to turn left, and the right foot steps forward, while sweeping the elbow flexion with the right fist (intended to lock Party B’s throat); Party B immediately crouches to avoid Party A’s sweeping right fist (Figure 15-2).

Party B uses the right rear sweep leg to sweep Party A’s left foot, and Party A’s left foot is quickly lifted to avoid the sweep of Party B’s rear sweep leg (Figure 16-1). Party B then turns to the right into a right lunge, and strikes the left rib of A with its right left fist; Party A’s left foot is inserted backwards, and at the same time do a double whip fist, with the left fist whip to prevent the impact of Party B’s left fist (Figure 16-2).

Party B steps up with his left foot into a lunge, and at the same time strikes Party A’s chest with his right fist; Party A’s left foot steps up into a cover step, and at the same time uses the right circle bridge to open Party B’s right fist (Figure 17-1). Party B retreats his left foot into a right lunge and punches Party A in the chest with a left-punch; Party A’s right foot steps up into a cover step, and uses the left disc bridge to prevent Party B’s left fist (Figure 17-2).

Party B turns right into a horizontal crotch step, and at the same time hits the head of A with his left fist; Party A uses the left fist to prevent the left fist from Party B (Figure 18-2).

Party B turns left into a left lunge and hits Party A’s left rib with a right fist; Party A turns right into a right lunge, and at the same time makes a provocative punch to prevent Party B’s right fist with his left fist (Figure 18-3).

Party B quickly turns right into a horse step, and at the same time punches Party A in the chest with a left punch; Party A’s right foot is slightly retreated into a horse’s step, while the right palm is pulled in to prevent the blow of Party B’s left fist (Figure 19-1). Party B turns his right foot up and left into a horse step, and at the same time hits Party A in the chest with a right-punched punch; Party A retreats with his left foot into a right lunge, while pushing away the right fist from Party B with his left palm (Figure 19-2).

Party B takes a small step on his left foot, turns his body right into a right lunge, and punches Party A’s abdomen with a left-punched punch; Party A quickly turns left into a lunge, and at the same time uses the right arm bridge to prevent Party B’s left fist (Figure 19-3).

Party B turns left into a left lunge, and at the same time hits Party A on the head with a right spike; Party A uses the finger to sink the bridge to prevent the right fist from Party B’s nail (Figure 20-1).

The machine room immediately inserted the throat of Party B with the standard palm; Party B uses the right bridge to prevent the right palm inserted by Party A (Figure 20-2).

When Party A’s right fist rushes, Party B uses the left counter-interception bridge to prevent the opening (Figure 28-2).

Immediately afterwards, Party A’s right leg lifts and steps on Party B’s right crotch; Party B turns left into a horse step, and at the same time uses the left counterpalm to prevent Party A’s right foot, and hits Party A in the chest with a right-punch punch (Figure 32-3).

Party A’s right foot quickly retracts into a left independent step, while leaning back and using his left hand to hook Party B’s rushing right fist (Figure 33-1). Immediately afterwards, Party A’s right foot lands on the ground and turns left into a horse step, and at the same time pecks Party B’s head with a right hook in front; Party B turns right and dodges, and at the same time uses the left palm to prevent Party A’s right hook hand (Figure 33-2).

When Party A strikes with the left elbow, the right arm quickly pronates the elbow downward, and at the same time pushes Party A’s left elbow away with the left palm (Figure 41-1). Party A then turns left into a horse step, while grabbing Party B’s left wrist with his left hand, then turning left into a left lunge, and hitting Party B’s left elbow with his right elbow (Fig. 41-2, Fig. 41-3).

When Party A strikes with the left elbow, the right arm quickly pronates the elbow downward, and at the same time pushes Party A’s left elbow away with the left palm (Figure 41-1). Party A then turns left into a horse step, while grabbing Party B’s left wrist with his left hand, then turning left into a left lunge, and hitting Party B’s left elbow with his right elbow (Fig. 41-2, Fig. 41-3).

Party B then turns right into a horse step while punching Party A in the chest with a left punch. Party A pulls into his left palm and wants to grab Party B’s left wrist, and then turns left into a left cover step; At the same time, quickly cross with the right elbow to hit the left elbow of the second side. Party B’s left arm rotates outward and sinks back to avoid Party A’s left hand and right elbow volley (Figure 47-1). When Party A’s elbow amputation method fails, it quickly steps up with his right foot into a horse step, and at the same time uses his right single hand to sweep Party B’s throat (intended to make Party B’s center of gravity fall backwards). Party B dodged and blocked Party A’s right single hand by building a bridge on the left (Figure 47-2).

Party B then takes a triangular step with his left foot and slashes down with his right fist to hit Party A’s head.
